Dying Lacrosse Heads
      Materials:
- RIT Dye: Go to your local grocery or drug store and pick up preferably liquid RIT dye. The powder form works just as well it's just a little messy.
Large pot or pan: Get a large pot or pan that will completely emerge the stick head under the water.
Glue Gun: If you use a glue gun you can make designs in the dye. The part that you glue stays white, so go crazy with it.
You might want to use rubber gloves and have towels around to keep everything clean.
  Steps
How to Dye a lacrosse head:
- Use a hot glue gun to make cool designs. Wherever you put the glue the dye will not reach that area. After the glue is on the stick let it dry and harden. Also if you want to use stickers with numbers or letters you can place them on the stick as well. To make them stick even better use a blow dryer.
- Heat up water in a pot on the stove, until bubbles start to come to the top. Make the water almost boil. Then place the RIT dye into the pot and stir it until it is mixed. After submerge the head, preferably without the mesh or handle. Let the stick sit in the water until it reaches the desired color.
- When you have the desired color pull the head out and wash it off with cold water. If your dying the stick a darker color like black then you can re-dye the head, so the head doesn't fade as quickly. Then take the head out and wash it off with cold water again. If there is glue on the head at this point you can remove that to pull away your cool design.
- Note: When you dye a head, you void the manufacture warranty.
