2-3-1 Play
In the 2-3-1 formation there are two mid-fielders up top and one mid-fielder on the crease. Two attackmen, one of the left side and one on the right side of G.L.E. This formation is typically the basic formation for a team to run, especially the first in an offensive set.

Player 2 starts the play off with a dodge, when dodging you must dodge to score. If you don't have a clean shot look at the crease (3) next. If the crease isn't open pass the ball through X for a dodge behind the cage or roll and pass it for another mid-fielder dodge. When the player from X (6) dodges, he must dodge for a shot. If the shot isn't open pass it to the crease or move it to the mid-fielder for a dodge from up top. This motion can be run in the opposite direction, if run well this can be a lethal weapon.
  1-4-1 Motion

The 1-4-1 formation that I show you is a hybrid. The two mid-fielders on the wing are higher than normal. In this motion the dodges come from the wing mid-fielders and from behind the cage at X. You can run this play in any direction and there are several options when you dodge, so the defense will never be able to predict the offense. The play starts off with a mid-fielder dodge from the wing, the mid-fielder must dodge down the side with the first option being a shot. If not, move the ball through X for a re-dodge or pass to the other mid-fielder up top. If the X attackmen receives the ball, he must dodge to the other side. The first option is a shot, but if not he can roll to pass to X for a re-dodge or to the other side. Up top for a mid-field dodge is another option. This rotation can be done in several different ways, it all depends on how the defense reacts. This makes the offense very successful.
